How to do Your Own SPARC
Developing a Support Personnel Accountability Report Card SPARC
or First Step SPARC: One-Day or Half-Day Workshop

This is a professional development opportunity for school teams of counselors, administrators and related student support personnel. Participating student support team members are encouraged to incorporate API, School-to-Career, Title I, School Safety, Healthy Kids, Title IV/TUPE, AVID, school accreditation and report card materials into their SPARC. Participants will:

  • Understand the role of the National Standards and National Model in improving their Student Support Services
  • Learn how to use selected Quality tools to improve group process to achieve desired outcomes
  • Learn how to construct and conduct a simple internet-based survey (Full day session only)
  • Begin a Support Personnel Accountability Report Card (SPARC) or First Step SPARC
